CareRevolution allows patients to communicate with your practice via a secure internet website. Several of the functions provided include the ability for patients to:
- Request an appointment time
- Update demographic information
- Request a prescription refill
- Ask questions of nursing staff
Rules-Based Scheduling
Rules-based scheduling allows your administrative staff to set scheduling rules for both providers and office equipment. Rules are set based on provider preferences; staff can search for appointments that meet both the exact needs of the patient and availability of the provider. Office staff will be required to input a password to break physician scheduling rules. Rules-based scheduling helps to maximize the practice’s efficiency and reduce patient wait time.
Customer-Defined Data
CareRevolution allows for an unlimited number of user-defined data fields. These fields allow the practice to capture discrete, reportable data elements.
Optimized Data Usage
Patient data is only beneficial to a practice if it can be analyzed and reported in a concise, user-friendly format. CareRevolution uses Business Objects report writing software to analyze patient data. Reports are created through drag-and-drop technology and may contain both clinical and financial data.
Automated Forms and Correspondence
A major step in moving to a paperless environment is automating the process of filling out the ever-increasing volume of patient forms. These forms may include company physicals, sports participation, school and work excuses, etc. The Forms and Correspondence functionality in CareRevolution allows staff to scan copies of forms into the system and auto-populate these forms with patient data.
