EHS automatically tracks and queues results on your Clinical Console for review, action, and sign-off. Using your default delinquency value on when results are expected, the system alerts the user to follow up on delinquent orders. This allows you to modify the expected result time to accommodate STAT orders, protecting the patient's safety and reducing risk and liability for the provider.

Deferred Orders Tracking

The Deferred Orders Tracking function lets you manage an individual patient for follow-up. For instance, providers can defer a chest X-ray for 2 weeks for a patient management with antibiotic therapy for upper respiratory infection to ensure that the treatment is effective. You can easily set a due date on a deferred order using the drop-down calendar. The system alerts you to delinquent deferred orders on your Clinical Console.
